Privacy Policy

This policy covers www.mindcrew.ai and explains how the wider Mindcrew tool network handles privacy at a high level. Individual applications may also provide product-specific privacy notes in their own footers.

Mindcrew Tools operates the root site, root-hosted games, 15Square, calc, mdformatter, codeformatter, and AICostCompass. The network is designed for no compulsory accounts and minimal data collection.

Browser-local processing and storage

Many Mindcrew tools run in your browser. Code formatting, most calculator inputs, game progress, scores, theme choices, and consent choices may be processed or stored locally in your browser storage. Clearing site data removes local preferences and saved local state.

Server-side processing

mdformatter uses server-side processing to convert Markdown to DOCX, PDF, HTML, and related exports. Markdown text and generated files are handled for the requested conversion and are normally deleted after approximately 24 hours. AICostCompass uses server-side catalogue and pricing APIs to provide model, provider, comparison, and ROI data.

Logs and operations

Servers may keep standard technical logs such as IP address, requested path, timestamp, response status, and browser user agent for security, debugging, abuse prevention, and reliability.

Analytics

Where analytics are used, they are intended to measure product usage and site reliability without intentionally collecting document contents, source code, calculator values, salary figures, prompts, or other user-generated input.

Advertising and consent

The network is ad-supported and uses Google AdSense. Google, as a third-party vendor, and other advertising partners use cookies to serve ads on this site. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet. Cookies or similar technologies may also be used for ad measurement, fraud prevention, and frequency capping.

You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. Consent defaults to denied until you choose in the banner where consent is required. Use Cookie Preferences in site footers to reopen the banner on supported applications.

The services may display Google AdSense ads and link to third-party provider pages, documentation, and tools. We do not control third-party content, pricing, ads, policies, or availability.

Availability and accuracy

The services are provided as-is and may change, break, or be withdrawn. We aim to keep content useful and accurate, but formulas, prices, tax rules, rates, exchange data, and provider terms can change.
