About Mindcrew Tools
Free, privacy-first browser utilities maintained by a small independent team.
Mindcrew Tools builds practical web apps for everyday work: calculators, Markdown document conversion, code formatting, word tools, and AI model pricing comparison. The project is designed around immediate access, no compulsory account, and a clear distinction between tools that run locally in your browser and tools that need server-side processing.
Current tools
- calc provides standard, scientific, financial, salary, mortgage, loan, savings, and currency calculators.
- mdformatter converts Markdown to Word, PDF, and HTML, including native editable Word equations from LaTeX-style math.
- codeformatter formats JSON, JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, YAML, C, C++, and VBScript in the browser.
- aicostcompass compares AI model pricing, token rates, subscription seats, context windows, and benchmark workloads.
- wordunscrambler finds words from letters, solves jumbles, narrows Wordle guesses, and helps with word-game racks.
How we maintain the tools
Calculations, converters, and formatters are reviewed as the products change. Financial and tax-related calculators include methodology notes, assumptions, and source links in the individual tool pages where those details matter most.
Corrections
Report bugs, calculation issues, outdated sources, or accessibility problems at deploy@mindcrew.ai. Include the tool URL and enough detail to reproduce the issue.
